Woodstock Double IPA with Citra, Lily, and Strata hops is a novel twist on our base Double IPA. Pouring a glowing yellow color into your glass, this unique blend fills the air with notes of grapefruit peel, passionfruit, sugary mandarin orange juice, and red currant. Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Cloudy, light brown-dark yellow, tons of sparkle, thin head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong grapefruit, candied citrus, passion fruit, mandarin orange. Taste is strong (dominant) grapefruit, milder passion fruit, bread. Smooth, frothy, thin texture, light bodied, soft carbonation, finish as taste with dry, yeasty, lightly bitter finish. Taste doesn't quite live up to aroma. Thin for style.

Flavor follows with traces of white wine. Very soft, herbal bitterness that helps balance the fruit. The balance is very nice. Extremely juicy and drinkable. Very nice!
