Keg at Newbarns. It pours clear rich purple with a medium pinky white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tart, tangy, juicy, bright, zingy lemon, blackcurrant cordial, bramble and sour candy. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, sour, puckering, sherbet, minerality, blackcurrant, lemon sherbet, raspberry, candy and juicy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Bright, zingy and fruity.

Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - bright and solid pink to purple. Fluffy pink head.
Nose - mainly blackcurrant but lemon too. Quite like cough lozenges.
Taste - blackcurrant cough lozenge. Some citrus peel.
Palate - light bodied with a sweet middle and a zesty finish.
Overall - good example of the style.
