On tap @BoldRockAVL. Taster glass. Clear, gold, lacy. Most of these sadly looked exactly the same & only varied in how gold or how pale. I took a picture of everything side by side & 3 out of 4 that didn't have adjuncts looked nearly the same. Plastic, musky melon, wood pulp nose. Dusty weet Tart, sharp, relatively clean. Red dessert apple skin finish. Boring, indifferent, not as sickening sweet as others. Strong carbonation, indifferent abv. If I'm desperate.

Draft at Snallygaster 2014. Poured a light, pale green-yellow color with almost no head to speak of. Aroma was some tart apple. Flavor was apple flavors, sweet apple juice. A little dry, but too sweet - probably would be a bigger hit with people who like the most sweet varieties of cider that are less dry like champagne.

Bottle sample at the source. Clear pale yellow color, champagne head and bubbles. Aroma of apple skins. Taste is indeed dry apple skins, dry finish. My favorite of the bunch.

750 mL bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium sized foamy white head. Good retention for a cider. Aroma of mildly sweet apples with a faint vegetal/herbaceous notes. Tart apple taste, faint hints of vanilla and earth. Medium bodied. Fairly simple, fairly dry, decently drinkable.
