This hop-fueled dark mild, our diminutive take on the popular West Coast hoppy amber style, delivers waves of sticky and juicy hoppiness from Mosaic, Comet, and Citra. We cut back on the alcohol, but kept all the hops and flavor. Farewell my friend Dennis Wilson.

Draught at the source: pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is woody, citrus, pine. Taste is kind of a west coast hop mild ale. Roasty, very light, hoppy. Interesting.

Draught @ the brewpub, 3.8%. Pours hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and needles, with malty and estery notes. Bitter flavour of hops, mwith notes of pine and yeast, and dusty and malty touches. Hints of fruit. Lingering, bitter, dusty and estery aftertaste. A delicious Mild Ale; definitely the best one I have had so far.

On tap at the Shaw brewpub. Pours a clear deep anger with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a combination of earthy citrus and musty pine with a bread backbone. Flavor has lots of bread and earthy grass with a touch of bitter citrus.

Draft at the source. Hazy light amber color, huge tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Gorgeous aroma of bright spiced pears. Taste is spiced and toasted brown bread and pine. Delicious.

Definitely good if this is supposes to be a mild. Pours orange with good head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Some coppery rust consistent with style. Tap at brewpub.

On tap at the brewery, pours a lightly hazy burnt orange amber with some creamy, soft white head. Nose has a big explosion of juicy fruit, some chewing gum, tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, star fruit, a hint of mild malt and perhaps just a little bit of yeast. Flavors follow suit, some sweet honey, starfruit, jackfruit, mango, clementine, lime. Clean finish. Very drinkable.
