750 mL bottle from 2014, shared by Ratman197. Pours a clear, orange color, with a small, bubbly, beige head. Smells like caramel apple, raw grains, orange peel, and cream. Sweet and very yeasty. Just a hint of bitterness. Medium body, with a grainy, syrupy palate. This is a surprisingly solid saison for one so old.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a clear orange amber with small off white head. The aroma is tea, lemon, spice, yeast. Thin mouth, fruity malt, spice, caramel, earth, a bit watery, decent.

Sampled at Birch & Barley Funkwerks dinner. Hazy amber color, off white edge head. Aroma of lightly spiced brown bread. Taste is sweet and malty toast.

From a bottle served at the Funkwerks beer dinner at Birch and Barley, DC. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Banana nose. Flavors of ginger -- delicate and well balanced. Smooth, slightly tart finish.

Amber, hazy, very fresh malty aroma - you want to chew this. Taste is a little toasty, touch mushroomy, with a biscuity finish. Good brew, vernal character.

On tap @ Funkwerks. Pours a bright reddish orange, hazy appearance with a thin khaki head. Definitely some spice / coriander / allspice in the noise with some citrus and toast though it is a bit dull. Moderate sweetness. A touch of caramel / toasted malt. Tangerine is prevalent. Some white pepper. Finishes with a bit of booze. Kind of disappointing.
