From a bottle served at the Funkwerks beer dinner at Birch and Barley, DC. Pours a cloudy pale yellow gold with an off white head. Flavors of banana, bubble gum and white pepper, with a hint of lemon. Smooth, clean finish.

Big fucken bottle offered for early turber thursty thruster thursday wotansday. Pours a gorgeous cloudy banana appearance with a white head. Their house yeast is pretty prevalent in the nose. Kind of a dusty / grassy / herbal yeast in the nose. Lemon and citrus. Just a touch of bubblegum and a hint of tropical fruits in the aroma. A touch watery. There’s a bit of a twangy / tingly tartness near the finish. Pretty grassy. Fair amount of lemon. Sure, it’s sessionable and somewhat tasty, but honestly, nothing distinguishes it from the 100 other Saisons that Funkwerks has released.
