A Radler. Nice, easy drinking, low abv blend of lager and lemonade right? Dead. Wrong. Schorle is flipping that on its head with a full strength, hopped German lager and LLZ from flavour wizards at Hopsteiner. This means we get all the Lemon Lime Zest flavour without diluting our beer. Think schorle is a watered down version of the original? Think again.

Crowler from Dogtap Ellon. It pours clear yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is perfumed, zesty, zingy, lemon - lime, lime peel, slightly floral and damp grain. The taste is neither bitter nor sweet really, zingy, zesty, lime peel, lemon balm, mild citric acidity, perfumed florals, quite heavy feeling with toasty grains and bread. Finish is zesty dot come. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Body is heavier than I had expected, detracting from it's drinkability to be honest. Ok.
