An amber-colored beer with an aroma that is slightly sweet, yet with a hint of Columbus hops in the background. The taste shows off the maple character, as the beer is allowed to age upon an ample quantity of pure maple syrup, sourced from locally tapped sugar maple trees.

Sample at Atlantic Beer Festival Moncton. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of vanilla and caramel. Taste is malt forward with a bit of vanilla. Not bad.

Location: Draft at a restaurant in Saint John, 7/6/13
Aroma: The nose is malty, with some maple notes, and a bit of hops as well
Appearance: The pour is an amber color, on the darker side, with a tan head to it
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, but it keeps clear of getting past that, and light bitter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a mild stickiness, and solid mouthfeel
Overall Impression: I was expecting an over-the-top sweet beer, but this one turned out to be surprisingly tasty. This exceeded my expectations.
