Description
Pump House Brewery debuted its first beer, Cadian Cream Ale, at 4pm on September 3, 1999, at the brewpub on 5 Orange Lane in Moncton.
Since then, we've been honoured to craft and refine a stellar lineup of brands, including our beloved Blueberry Ale, Cadian Cream Ale and Muddy River Stout–all of which have stood the test of time thanks to our skilled team of brewers and our wonderfully loyal fans.
Significant milestones include the opening of our full-scale production and packaging facility on Mill Rd. in 2002, which enabled us to distribute our beers across Atlantic Canada.
Then, in 2005 we had the distinct honour of cleaning up at the Canadian Brewing Awards and ultimately being named Canadian Brewery of the Year.
In 2016, we introduced the Crafty Radler and the game changed for us.
Combining a high-alcohol beer with a custom-designed fruit soda was unheard of at the time and people really took to our unique formula.
Initially launched in June as a summer seasonal, it quickly became a fan favourite, selling over 160,000 cans by the end of that summer.
Since then, Crafty Radler has put the Pump House brand on the map selling millions of cans all over the world!
In December 2020, Brian Harriman, Brad Devarennes, and Kolin Barley, three local long-time friends united by a shared passion for brewing and craft beer, took over the ownership of Pump House Brewery.
With a fresh vision and boundless enthusiasm, they have been driving the Pump House to new heights.
Under their leadership, the brewery not only continues to produce popular beers like our Nio 9 Starkhöl and our Uncommon Kölsch (yes, we seem to love umlauts), but has also expanded into Spirits and Ready-To-Drink beverages (RTDs) with Crafty Vodka, Unnecessary Vodka, Venerdi Italian Soda and Real Vodka Water, enhancing our product lineup and reaching new markets across Canada and into the United States.
We're just getting started!
