Full Saturated action in collaboration with our wonderful friends at Fast Fashion from Seattle.

After visiting them back in September, we were seriously impressed by the quality and punch of their hoppy beers. Naturally, we started plotting...
What if we fused our Saturated process with their approach to hop-forward brewing? The Result: Saturated in Anchovy

At the heart of this beer is Anchovy, an experimental hop developed by Segal Ranch in Washington's Yakima Valley and championed by Fast Fashion. It leads a mega juicy dry hop, supported by Motueka and Nectaron.

Why Anchovy? This unique hop is all about aroma. Think watermelon candy, raspberry, lemon zest, and a subtle hint of pine. It's sweet, punchy, and built to stand out in modern hop-forward styles.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 19/05/2026.
Murky orange topped with a good sized lasting creamy white cap.
Nose is orange pith, raw, pineapple, grass, mandarin, ripe melon.
Taste comprises grapefruit, grass, mandarin, ripe tropicana, subtle hop spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Tidy DIPA but I get what Chris says about Anchovy not really featuring at the top of the bill. Not docking any marks mind!

500ml can. Murky yellow with a creamy white head, well retained. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits, lime, melon. Taste is dominated by (Motueka*) lime zest, lemon, ripe tropical fruits, a strange savoury note I can't put my finger on, more zesty citrus. Medium-full bodied, very soft, smooth.

* So this single hop series beer actually has 3 hops in it. And it's Motueka that dominates rather than the Anchovy this beer was named for. No idea what Deya were thinking changing the formula up like this but it's a shame because Anchovy is an interesting hop that deserves a proper showcase. I hope future beers in this "single hop" series don't forget this most salient point - it defeats the entire purpose of the series.
