A delightfully intricate Quadrupel with notes of plums, raisins, and rich toffee malts.

Draught @ Beermiscuous, Chicago IL (May 2026). Dark brown with red highlights, small foamy tan head, caramel aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter caramel-toffee taste, alcohol undertones, spicy flavor, smooth body, long bitterish caramel finish. Decent quad.

Can from Tavour. Pours brownish mahogany with a moderate tan head. Aroma of toffee and dark fruits. Med plus body. Not dry, but not sticky. Flavor starts with raisin and brown sugar. Gets a bit of plum. Nice drink, but needs a bit more body.

16oz can. Brown-burgundy body. Not that big in ABV for the style, but drinks full and heavy. Big raisin, plum, dark fruit. Brown sugar, caramel, toffee. Doesn't have the body of a Belgian but a nice beer still.
