Pastry Sour Ale w/ Lemon, 16°, 6% ABV

Maďarská kooperace. Hned, jak jsme se potkali s kluky z maďarského Fehér Nyúl, věděli jsme, že spolu chceme uvařit společné pivo. Jedním z jejich vlajkových piv je Rafa, kterou oni sami nazývají limoncellem v plechovce. Rozhodli jsme se inspirovat a společně v Sibeerii upéct citronový koláč! Vzniklo pivo s chutí kombinující citronovou kyselost s nevtíravou koláčovou sladkostí, završenou špetkou vanilky. Na zdraví! Nebo dobrou chuť?

0.5l can. Hazy golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of candied lemon, sugar syrup and biscuit. Not too sour, but clearly defined by the lemony notes. It's also a bit one dimensional, but for some reason, it still works for me.

Tap at the Sibeeria Taproom. Murky golden-amber body, off-whtie head. Lemony aroma, lightly minerally, bit tart, pleasant. And the taste... oh wow... imagine lemon rock candy, but with the excessive sweetness sucked out. Kinda fakeish but... works? These weird Italian cheap lemon cakes one can sometimes get come to mind. But this isn't sweet, or too sour really, but undeniably fun. If it came out a bit later, "Lemon Pound Cake" would have been a fantastic name for it hahah.
