Brewed with blood orange puree and fresh grapefruit zest, this beer is unlike any other. The richness of blood orange pairs nicely with the tart flavor of grapefruit and hops. We dry-hopped this beer Amarillo and other top secret hops. Why the name Hop Burglar? Level 5 clearance required for this information.

RBWG 2014 Clear gold with a mostly white head. The aroma has tart, fresh citrus that is unlike customary hop citrus aromas. The flavor is grapefruit forward, and again, it isn’t the customary hop grapefruit flavor, but more like actual fruit.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear amber with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of grapefruit with bitter citrus and a hint of tartness. Flavor has lots of grapefruit with a bit of bitter citrus and an earthy grain backbone.

On tap @ Wicked Weed. Pours a dark orange appearance with a white head. Spicy hops in the nose. Grapefruit. White pepper. Some sweet citrus. Light to moderately bitter and sweet. Nice grapefruit. A bit goopy but not bad. Pretty good.

Draft - Blood orange and grapefruit with candy malts. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Grapefruit and citrus pith bitterness and some of the orange and resin. Nice big and refreshing.
