Brewed with blood orange puree and fresh grapefruit zest, this beer is unlike any other. The richness of blood orange pairs nicely with the tart flavor of grapefruit and hops. We dry-hopped this beer Amarillo and other top secret hops. Why the name Hop Burglar? Level 5 clearance required for this information.

Draft at the brewery during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Juicy, fruity hop aroma, some orange, grapefruit. Light to medium sweet flavor with good citrus character, light rindy bitterness, pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with light alcohol warmth, more bitter citrus rinds. Good one.

A golden amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with superb piney and floral hops, resinous and citrusy, beautiful. In mouth, a nice piney and resinous hops over smooth caramel malt, very nice. On tap at The Beer Growler, Charlotte.

RBWG14 Trip Rating #74. Draft at the downstairs taproom. Pours a clear copper color with a thin frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of big citrus hops, dark citrus notes, pale malt and a bit of toastiness. The taste is tart citrus, dry pithy citrus, green hops, pale malt and a faintly soapy note. Medium bodied.
