Franken Pils is a Franconia (or "Franken") inspired Pilsner Lager, brewed exclusively for Sheffield Beer Week with Sheffield Synth-Pop legends I Monster. Hopped with German hops (Hallertauer Mittelfruh) and lagered over a long winter.

Keg at SMOD Tap Room - Clear gold, massive head. Flavour is quite malty sweet. Light bodied. A hint of bitter in the finish. A bit more syrupy and fuller in the body than other SMOD lagered efforts. This is a wee bit different.
