These barrels were selected for their deep, robust, roasted character and nutty aromatics, which play wonderfully with @imbibe_coffee Brazilian boa sopa (catuai & mondo novo varietals) which display a natural hazelnut aroma.
The Imbibe team with Gary at the helm, unassumingly plough out some of the best Ireland has to offer coupled with a social consciousness. There is a link to their website, including their outstanding coffee club.

Very dark brown to black with a beige head. Chocolate, burnt malts, earthy, dry coffee grounds. Medium bodied. Finish is coffee and earthy. Decent but needs some cohesion.
