This recipe was inspired by the classic American pre-prohibition cream ales. Brewed with corn, oats, two-row malt and Mt. Hood hops and open fermented with our farmhouse yeasts. This rustic beer finishes dry with a full grain flavor and wispy yeast.

12oz goblet pours a hazy gold with some soapy white head. Nose has plenty of corn notes, a little dark maize, the saison influence is there, mild pepper, white grape. Flavor has more citrus juice than the nose lets on, some white grapefruit, mild pepper, corn notes too, a bit buttery as well. Crisp finish.

Draft at the source. Clear bright golden color. Aroma of funky and spiced orange peel. Taste is herbal barnyard, very dry finish. Delicious.

Another respectable saison by right proper. These guys are consistently getting their funk in line and this is a beast of a saison. Lots of grassy bitterness like an old farm wife who has been breastfeeded twelve children. Texture of cream. Light citrus. Tap at brewpub.
