Brewed in collaboration with Mikkeller Brewpub London, this Bright Pale is a hop-led expression of a style we hold close to our hearts.
A simple pale malt base lays down a light biscuit backbone without straying into sweetness. The hop bill is in the spotlight: Eggers Special, NZ Cascade and Nelson Sauvin work together to produce a note of caramelised pineapple, dank weed balanced with notes of bright citrus and whitefruits.
A classic West Coast-style snap arrives before finishing dry and resinous. Modern in hop choice, traditional in balance, and built for sessionability.

440ml can. Clear golden with a frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, white wine, gooseberry, something earthy and a bit dank/weedy. Taste is citrusy, grapefruit, orange, white wine, tart gooseberry, earthy pine, resin, dank, herbal, and some caramel, finishing bitter. Medium bodied.
Solid westie pale, just lacking a bit more bitterness for me.
