Sometimes the world shrinks. A brewer in Sweden has dinner with his singing cousin who, as it seams, knows a Belgian brewer. After a quick introduction the idea of a collaboration to celebrate the 10 year aniversary of the song group Kongero was born - and the rest is as we say history. Kongero is a continuously hopped super saison. Hops used are Magnum, Saaz, Hallertauer Tradition and Chinook.

05/06/2016 @home - 33cl botlle from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte. Clear golden colour with huge white head. Nose is a bit fruity, sweet, somewhat Tripel-like. Taste has some grain, some fruit, a bit peppery, again hints of a Tripel. Doubt if it can be considered as a Saison.

Bottle. Grey Amber, floaties, white head. Light farty minerals and pomerance aroma, Belgian funk. Medium light body, foamy mouthfeel. Farm spicy hay, pepper, roasted vegetables, dried fruit, light leafy, spicy aftertaste.

Bottle. Orange color with white head and quite some floatees. Aroma is fresh, peppery yeasts, phenolic-estery, some grassy hoppiness, also some jammy fruits, orange and grapefruit. Taste is mostly spicy-peppery, slightly phenolic, high foamy carbonation. Spicy finish. The aroma has some similarities to Hefeweizen.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Tea, lemon, spice and a faint hint of grapefruit in the aroma. Lemon, spice and some slightly nutty notes can be detected in the well balanced and slightly sweet taste. The sweetness is even more evident in the finish along with some notes of banana and grain.
