Sample courtesy of Grumbo, many thanks Graham! Country rating #198. Black brown colour, bubbly beige foam head and aroma of roast, malt, ash, chocolate & coffee. Taste is sweetish, dark malty, roasted, with chocolate, molasses, coffee, and ashy earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Canned, thanks Nisse666! Dark brown, small head. Chocolatey nose with some coffee. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate and light toffee. Mid bitter finish. Really nice beer for being a country tick!

Amsterdam Liquor and Cheese: pours black with beige head. Aroma is chocolate and liquorice. Taste is dryish, lightly bitter. Somewhat watery. Generally not bad.
