Sample from bottle #146/400 at the Jackie O’s Staff Bottle Tasting Part 1 on 04/11/2015. The beer pours a dark reddish-brown color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, oak and malt. Medium-bodied with a vinous oak character and notes of tart cherry, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is moderately sour with a cherry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle thanks to Seth. Pours a cloudy red brown with small off white head. The aroma is strong cherry skin, oak, funk. Medium mouthfeel with acidic cherry and oak, very good.

Bottle at DC Epic Sour Tasting 2014, courtesy of me, thank me very much! Clear maroon brown color. Nice aroma of tart cherry, raspberry, port wine. Taste is softly sweet and sour dark fruit. Very nice.

Bottle tanks to Chris. Pours a hazy amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sour cherry with a hint of of tart raspberry and sweet grains. Flavor has a more mellow sour cherry with tart raspberry and a hint of oak.

Can @ the pussy palace. Pours a dark reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Fairly tannic, oaky, vinegar, cherry aroma. Some leather, acetic acid, black cherry, tannic, fig flavor. Fairly sour. Kind of fun.

22oz bottle pours a translucent, cola brown with a ring of white head. Nose of cherry, vinegar, a little brown sugar, some malt, some vitamin C tablet, some red grape. Flavor is tart, grapey, some berry, cherry, a little vinegar, some brown sugar. Hot, acetic finish.
