Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before March 2018. Slightly hazy, dark brownish amber with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, red fruits and oak. Sweetish, malty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, milk chocolate, red fruits and some oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

*Bottle from Bier Freunde, Leipzig. The Rum-barrel is not as good for the beer as the Port is. The sticky sugary sweetness of the "ground-beer" is not softened too much, the woody whisky just adds another (not bad) aroma, that doesn’t fit in too great. Alcoholic sticky sweetish wood, I would say, is the body, the aftertaste is the same, stick sweetish with wood and hints of whisky. Not my stuff...
