Can. The Costco Advent Calender edition. The Alpenkonig Gold Marzen version. Looks a lot like an American light lager. Very large three finger head. Aroma is malty grains with hints of molasses. Taste is malty good. Turns out there is two versions of this beer,which I question, in the 2017 Costco Brewers Advent Calendar. The second is Das Besondere Festbier. The only problem is this has a more copper color but it's the same beer. Go figure.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with dark bread, dried fruit, chocolate, caramel and orange peel. Malty taste with notes of crisp-bread, dried fruit, apricots, orange peel, caramel and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and refreshing. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle 50 cl. Golden?? It's almost the color of a Dunkel - very unusual. A clear brownish with a tiny, off-white head. Slightly crispy malts in the nose. Medium body, quite fizzy, a slight roastiness or perhaps rather cocoa accets, a vague hint of caramel. An unusual Märzen - like a small Dunkler Bock. 090421

Bottle from Systembolaget. A malty aroma. Mahogany colour. A nice and dark sweet taste. Tasted quite profound to me but having seen its lowish rating and reflecting, I suppose there is some metal in there. One of those beers I thought I would give a very high rating to until I rated. Easy going though for sure and pleasant.
