Draft at the source. Black color, beige head. Nice aroma of chocolate, coffee, and other word that I can’t read in my sloppy notes. Taste is slightly fruity bitter cocoa and coffee. I liked it.

4oz pour at the brewery. Pours an inky black with some fading brown head. Nose is mostly roast, toast, heavy molasses, malt. Flavor has more of the rye, black pepper, pencil lead, molasses, toast, bread crust. Light sweet, lightly peppery finish. Very solid.

Draft at the source. Poured a deep, dark brown (almost black) color, with a nice tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, some light chocolate notes. Flavor had chocolate notes, roasted, malts, touch of rye spice. Alcohol pretty well masked.
