Pours orange with good head and lacing. Some floral hops and some light smoke aroma. A little touch of oak here. Deceptively light tasting. Light sweet finish. Pours cloudy brown with good head and lacing. These guys make good Belgian beers. Tap at brewpub.

4oz pour at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber with a ring of off white head. Nose is nice, candy, orange, clove, malt, some caramel. Flavor is well balanced, sweet candy, malt, treacle, nice citrus punch. Clean finish. Scary easy to drink for a beer that’s 9%. Not a standard abbey ale.

Draft at the source, opening night, welcome to the neighborhood! Poured with a nice cloudy, semi-dark yellow color, with a small white head. Aroma had some estery bananas, some light fruits and bready yeast notes. Flavor was yeasty, with some nice sweet malt notes.
