Wild Blend Vintage 2023
Wild apples picked by Robbie from fifty different locations all over North and East Fife, particular emphasis placed on 13 specific varieties of seedling and crab apples from uncultivated wild trees.
This selection places a particular emphasis on unique local varieties of wild seedling and crab apples from uncultivated roadside and hedgerow trees. Their names given by me include Dairsie Darling, Dunino Sweet, Luthrie Giant, Michaels Aromatic, Leuchars Star, Boarhills, Pickletillum, Auchtermuchty Fleming’s Fascination and Jill Black Crab. These were blended at pressing with cooking and eating varieties, such as Lord Lambourne, James Grieve, Bramley, Grenadier, Golden Spire, Bloody Ploughman, Ashmeads Kernel and many more.
Full juice, wild yeast fermentation. Contains trace sulphites and sugar added for bottle conditioning. Store upright, serve slightly chilled. Ideal paired with duck, pork or seafood.

750ml bottle pour at Obhal Cider Tasting, Custom House, Edinburgh 28Mar2026. Golden colour, bubbly rim and aroma of apple, fruit, funk. Taste is appley, fruity, with some meaty funk and drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.
