Draft at the source. Clear amber color, beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of biscuits and toasted caramel. Taste is toasted graham crackers. Nice.

Draft at the brewpub, 11/21/13. Pours a clear dark red color with a medium sized frothy head. Good retention and sheets of lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, earthy and herbal hops and a bit of chocolate and umami. The taste is caramel, toffee, earthy and herbal hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, well balanced and refereshing. 1100th Virginia rating! Fun reaching a milestone with a milestone beer.
