Cold WC IPA
Out There is a West Coast Cold IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at Tofino Brewing. Crisp, bright, and modern, it brings together unmistakable West Coast dankness with layered tropical fruit aromatics. Fermented cold for a clean, snappy finish, this beer lets bold hop character shine without the heaviness—resinous, citrusy, and refreshingly dry. A true best-of-the-west-coast collab that’s smooth, and expressive. Out There is out today.

473 ml can. Plus gold with full foamy head. Aromas of citrus, a little pine, wine gums and soft toasty malts. Flavors follow same with more pine; and malts are more bready. Also a bit of soap; otherwise quite nice. Also maybe old as there is some surprising sediment.

On tap at Whistle Buoy. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Plenty of pine and dank notes on the nose. Flavour has a soft oaky pine character, some harsh dankness. Not bad, but the dank notes start to dominate in a bad way.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is full of big dank hops, plenty of grassiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is full of intense pine needles, big dankness, spruce tips, grass, and biscuity malt. Rather abrasive with that dank, spruce tip-like character. It’s alright, but far from an easy-drinking westie.
