Draft at the brewery during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear, rich gold with a foamy white head. Very nice, quite juicy, moderately resinous, plenty of tropical fruit notes set above a sturdy, bready foundation. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous on the finish, lightly warming, with more tropical fruits, melon, some oily pine. Good balance. Solid IPA.

Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, white head. Nice fruity aroma. Taste is earthy fruit.

2014 RBWG At the brewery’s downstairs tasting room. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma of pine resin. The flavor follows the aroma. Firmly bitter profile.

RBWG14 Trip Rating #11. Draft at the downstairs tap room. Sample courtesy deyholla. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized creamy head. Good head retention. Aroma of earth, herbal, floral hops and caramel malts. The taste is bitter herbal, melon, floral, berry hop notes and caramel malts. Medium bodied, well balanced, slight lingering bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and and laces. Aroma has an earthy grass and pine note with a nutty and toasty backbone. Flavor has a hint of tropical fruit with mainly earthy pine and grass notes with a backbone of toast.

Draft - Floral, orange and skunky earthy hops. Clear gold with a nice white head. Skunky bitter orange with a long bitter finish. Not my favourite from them.
