Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours lightly hazy amber-red with a creamy head. Big and woody and boozy. Not very graceful, that’s for sure. Tons of dry wood, cedar, pepper. Full boied with average carbonation. Light dried wood finish, with some leathery fruits as well. Just too wood-dominant. So so overall.

Draft - Sweet date and berry with some hop aromatics. Clear amber with a beige head. Hoppy bitterness with a perfumy hop character and a bit of booze. I don’t really get the barrel in this. Finish is a bit of orange hop and booze.
