Bottle thanks to John. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is apple skin, brett, lemon, wood. Slick body, brett, earth, wheat, metallic finish, didnt hold up well.

Sample at Ginger Man NYC. Cloudy golden-orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruit, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly funky character and flavors of ripe fruit, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is lightly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz draft snifter at SmallBar on Division in Chicago. A surprisingly boring brett beer, its funny what the craft scene has come to. A brett beer just isn’t good enough nowadays. Its golden color, slight hazy. Aroma is lemony and floral. The aroma has a soft cottony feel on the nostrils. A bit of urinal cake. Flavor is similar to the nose and has a long herbal brett finish. The body is thicker and not vibrant like I would prefer.

Bottle on the bus during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours cloudy gold with a white foam head. Tasty. Good melon and citrus fruits present, with faint brett funk and a bit of bitter, wet hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with more ripe melon. Nice. The brett doesn’t seem to have really taken hold just yet.
