Undated can drunk 7/25/26.
Smells like fresh, floral pine needles as it's being poured. But doesn't smell overly resinous/acidic, and there is a healthy backing of white bread-like malt to balance. The pine rather unusual for I7, though I'm guessing there's a lot more boiled I7 than whirlpooled. Citra not very notable here, but that's fine.
Nice and malty with good attenuation. Honey and white bread-like notes are rich and supple to balance the big pine character. Acidity never gets out-of-hand, yet nor does it become too malty. Just a nice, flavorful, balanced pils.

Tavour: pours gold with white head. Aroma has Idaho 7 notes pretty heavily, which I can live without, citrusy and plenty of pine. Taste is rather bitter, easy to drink, crispy. Solid.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Bright medium gold pour. Pillowy white head. Fruity aromas of citrus, peach and melon. First sip brings pithy notes of grapefruit and lime. Light biscuity malt is balanced by the peppery, spicy hops. Resiny notes from the Idaho 7 comes through on the backend. Dry finish.

16oz can from Tavour. Foggy golden pour, active foamy head, spotty lacing. Citrusy aroma, zesty. Taste is grapefruit pith citrus peel. Dry and zesty. This close to a pale ale !
