Slack Phillip is an 8.3% Double Black IPA paying homage to the legends at Firestone Walker, and arguably the best Black IPA around, Wookey Jack! Our interpretation uses a blend of dark rye & wheat malts for that toasty and coffee like character, with a DDH hop addition of Amarillo, Citra (T90 & Cryo) & Simcoe. Its a full bodied yet highly drinkable Black IPA, with a balanced bitterness and flavors of orange, tangerine, mango, grapefruit and whiffs of pine & dankness. Its big, its bold and utterly delicious!

Roasted toasted dark malty and solid hoppy with notes of cocoa and dark caramel, singed brown sugar, pine needles and citrus fruity notes with some dark citrus rind, full bodied, roasted malty and punchy hoppy finish. Love “The Witch” ref. Great DBIPA

Sweetish, fruity and slightly roasty with hints of pine, grass, citrus, herbal notes, rye, chocolate and herbal bitterness. Pretty nice, slightly sweet black DIPA.
