The latest in our experimental series. We have taken one of the base imperial stouts that we use for barrel aging and have instead dosed it with soft serve ice cream, coffee from Phil and Sebastian and Grade A Vanilla Beans. As with all beers this was a collaboration of tasting trials with the entire brewing team, but the inspiration and direction for this beer was influenced by brewer Matt. We hope this beer makes you feel like you're drinking an espresso shot through vanilla ice cream. Cheers!

Looks like they literally poured ice cream into a stout. Chocolate milk. Smells like imperial stout with vanilla, thankfully. But chocolate, tastes more like affogato. A concept that works better as a metaphor than taken literally. It has a chocolate milk kind of body, which is a turn off for me.
