750 c/c bottle. Slightly hazy but filtered looking body, tan. Creamy off white head. I get some heat/habaneros in the aroma. The mango evens it out, and underneath is a real clean, fresh Belgian Golden Ale. The smoke adds a nice touch. This beer has a lot of depth. The habanero lingers in the aftertaste. Quite unique, the mango-jerk tastes work well somehow. Balanced, but boldly flavored. Would complement food nicely.

Draft at the source. Blonde color. Nicely balanced aroma and flavor with a bit of slightly sour fruit.

Mesquito smoke kind of ruins the Belgian subtlety here. Some light florals, but overshadowed by smoke. Cloudy orange pour without much head or lacing. Light sweet and sour finish. Tap at brewpub.

4 ounce draft pour at Bluejacket poured into a snifter. Pours a cloudy apricot yellow with off-white head. No lacing. Aromas of spices, Belgian yeast, citrus, peel. Tasting notes of citrus, spices, light smoke and habanero. Medium body with a dry and spicy peppery finish. Medium carbonation, light juicy mouthfeel. Could use a bit more spiciness and heat but I enjoyed this one.

Draft at the source. Poured a golden color with a wispy head on it. Aroma was some smoke, smoked meats, some spices - light tropical notes. Flavor was smokey meat, with a touch of mango. Strange. I really wanted to dig this a lot, perhaps a little too much meaty smoke notes. Didn’t get too much heat on this one.
