Nostalgic Ski Lodge Winter IPA evokes the warmth and comfort of a fireside retreat after a day on the slopes. This amber-hued IPA offers a rich aroma of toffee, pine, and citrus, layered with subtle hints of orange peel and juniper berries. Its smooth malt backbone balances bright hop bitterness, creating a complex yet inviting flavor profile. Perfect for crisp winter evenings, it captures the spirit of the season in every sip.

Do smell the juniper and it's well-done. Not astringent or dominant, but there, and giving a West Coast-like vibe to the beer. The hops are bit timid, to say the least, but there's no wort and there's a fruity yeast and mild earthiness that give more of a rustic gruit character, if I'm being honest.
Lightly malty with an actual body to it, which is surprising given the lack of oat or wheat. But I'll take it! Juniper and a big fruity yeast continue in to the flavor with cracker and biscuit from the malt. Light citrus and light woodiness from the hop. Wish it were a bit deeper, rounder, juicier. But all-in-all, this is a pretty big success for an NA and I'm glad they branched out with some unusual ingredients.
