DDH Found A Scythe (Idaho 7/Sabro) - DDH Nelson Sauvin DIPA - 8.0% - Our first DDH'd variant of Found A Scythe has been hopped heavy! Brewed with a nice portion of red wheat malt and hopped with Nelson Sauvin, as always, to hit that sticky/drippy/sappy character. Double dry hopped with Idaho 7 and Sabro to make it even stickier. Notes of sweet pink cotton candy, orange tea popsicles, and mugolio glaze.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate starts smooth and is mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness and some natural grain. NS hops bring light pine, mild to medium hop spice, slightly pissy grapey winey vibe. Airy smooth finish. A grower. Wasn't hugely taken with this to start but, it gradually won me over with it persistent charms.
