Parfum agréable de marc de café et de céréales grillées... Au goût, c’est un peu mince (aqueux) et on note un côté terreux et un brin lactique à la fois. Très bon stout!!

Draught at the brewpub
Very dark brown color, with nice red beams near the edges; creamy head; nice lace. Breadish aroma, and some roasted malt. Smooth mouthfeel; roasted malt flavor with character; late, light liquorice; correct bitterness. Overall balanced. Very good.

1L swingtop from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Pours black with a foamy dark tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate and perhaps treacle. Med body; foamy carb. It’ got gritty burnt malt, sweetish chocolate and decent coffee. Not getting treacle. Finishes dry. Drinks pretty well. Reminds me of what a regular stout can taste like.
