Sampler at source. Dimmest and hazesst of my 3 samples. Can’t see through it. Aroma has a sweet strawberry thickness akin to mead actually but envolped in the house tartness, wildness, and farmhouse character. Flavor is very tart, very with a thicker mouthfeel for their ciders. Lots more of tingling and sparkling carbonation. Sweet strawberries as well. What a fun wild treat if not a bit too acidic.

Draft pour at the Schilling Cider House. Rating from notes. Pours a pale golden color with no head. Big berry aroma. Some cabbage too? Weird, but not bad. Strawberry and rhubarb are there, but less dominant than I hoped/expected. Interesting.

Bottle - Tart rhubarb and peppery funky notes. Cloudy yellow orange. Tart funky and a touch of acidity. Not bad, but not as good as their others.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Hazy golden yellow. Aromas of funk, light strawberry. Tastes of raspberries and strawberries, funk, tart acidic notes, apples, light herbs. Light body with a dry finish.

Bottle shared by maniac at the 9th Richmond Rare & Unusual Epic Tasting, Richmond, VA, 11/30/14. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of heavy peppers and saltines. The taste is tart apples, peppers, oak. Medium bodied, pretty weird and definitely not what was expected.

Draft at Paradiso Georgetown. Hazy very pale yellow color, champagne bubbles. Aroma of perfumy and floral apples. Taste has apples first, then fruity berry. Nice.

750ml bottle pours a clear gold with some fading white head. Nose is mild, cider clearly, pepper, some green berry, mild vegetables. Flavor is like the white/green end of a strawberry, fruity, tart, vegetal, sweet, a bit vinous. Finishes lightly tart. Needed more everything: cider, rhubarb, strawberry.
