During WWII, the Allies used elaborate deception tactics to confuse the Axis powers about their true military plans. One of the most successful of these was the creation of phantom armies—fake units complete with inflatable tanks, dummy aircraft, scripted radio traffic, and even fake headquarters. The most famous of these was FUSAG, a completely fictitious army group supposedly commanded by General George S. Patton.
The Phantom Forces were deceptive to say the least. With heavy doses of chocolate malts and oats, this BBA Imperial Stout is deceptively sweet and smooth at 12.1% abv
