This Mexican-inspired Belgian Golden Ale with agave was first brewed in collaboration with guest brewer Jose Santoyo of Queretaro, Mexico. It blends agave sweetness with organic local malts, resulting in floral and zesty citrus notes, balanced by spicy malt flavour. Enjoy it with fish tacos and grilled shrimp.

Can did not seem hard, but man - did that come out gushing !! Lost a lot of it. A very slight haze, from what seems to be the agave, syrupy at the bottom of the can. A fizzy white head, that only last, covering the brew - from that last pour with the syrup. Big malty aromas with some spices from the Belgian yeast, some light fruitiness (banana-wheat, apples), caramel and booze. A wet mouthfeel, that feels a tad thicker at first, but not syrupy, finishing with decent dryness. All of the nose comes out in the taste, without being too sweet as expected. It does go down nicely. Almost like a mix of Belgian Strong Blonde ale and some better malt liquor.
