Hops:
Ernest, Citra, Citra Cryo, Elani, Vic Secret, Nelson Sauvin
Malts:
Pilsner, Golden Promise, Munich, Caramalt, Wheat, Carapils
Our 150th brew didn’t exactly go to plan, a stuck mash and a lot of expletives gave way to a higher than expected efficiency and subsequent abv, waheyyy! Inspired by IPAs found in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, Without A Paddle pours a clear, bright orange colour with plenty of foam. We absolutely loaded it with some of the most potent hops from four different countries delivering pungent notes of sticky tinned pineapple, passion fruit and a distinct herbaceous edge with a clean and lingering bitter finish. We may be without a paddle, but at least we have this beer!

Can picked up at the brewery by my mate Daz. Ignore the pic, it’s 7.2%. Light haze on a medium gold. Slim sticky lasting white foam. Looks the part. Nose has a baked pineapple thing going on. So we’re in good hands. Piny notes. Sticky citrus. Sweet malts. Taste is definitely sweet up front but with a big hit of pithy piny resinous bitterness. Really easy drinking. Mouth altering bitterness to finish. Bosh.
