A malt-focused dark beer which gives warming and comforting flavours of chocolate, dark fruits and nuts. Classic English hops provide a soft and low bitterness for the speciality malts to shine. Despite its low ABV, this session beer still packs a punchy flavour.

Cask at The Catford Beer Festival 2026, Catford Bridge Tavern. Chocolate pudding, caramel, raisin & toffee aromas. Flavours are very similar. Malty sweet aftertaste. Nice.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A dull chestnut brown pour with a tight creamy cream coloured head; cocoa aroma; smooth and creamy in the mouth with some raisins and chewy caramel malts; then a drier finish with a lingering cocoa taste. Very good indeed.
