The three young men at the helm of Vermouth Sullivan - Florian, Vincent and Paul - launched their production of traditional vermouth in 2021 in Besançon, located in eastern France. By macerating a blend of herbs, plants, and roots in 60-proof alcohol, they’ve dreamed up two elixirs to blend with our beer.
The first macerate, made from gentian, rhubarb root, wormwood, coriander, juniper, sage, and many other herbs, was blended at a concentration of 3.5% with a two-year-old Lambic to create Artémis La Blanche.

Hazy golden yellow with no head. Herbal (coriander and juniper were most apparent to me), lemon, Brett, vinegar, and hay aroma. Mildly sweet herbal lemon, biscuit malt, moderately sour vinegar and citric acid, and mildly bittter hay and herb flavor. Nice body. Very pleasant.

Good and refreshing. Herbal but not quite in a rough and grassy way. More refined. Light acidity. Some green pepper vibes. Soft lemony tang. Pretty dry at the end. A little peel. It really is quite drinkable.

During Zwanze 2026 with almost the whole gang gathered around 😁
Aroma: a lot of botanicals, some funk and bitterness.
Taste: along the same lines. Nice funk and light bitterness in aftertaste.
Overall: pretty good and pleasant, but botanicals is not really my thing. For those who love it, it will be amazing for sure.

0,3l from tap at Ammutson. Amber hazy color no small white head. Smells earthy, herbal, leathery, flowery, smoky, nice, bit weird. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, herbal, leathery, herbal, wormwood, tobacco, flowery, peppery. Finishes medium bitter and lightly sour with nuts of herbs, wormwood and earthy notes. Very nice one, good to drink, no antidoot, but getting there

Draft pour at Zwanze Day 2026, at The Sovereign in Washington DC. Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was white grapes, vermouth. It's okay. Vermouth with some woodsy herbalness funk. This is decent but it misses the mark just a little bit.

Cloudy, deep golden body, very dense white head, with good retention. Aroma's of herbs, vermouth, sour, light brett. Retronasal: sourish, light sweetish, herbs, wood. A bit too cold tbh. Flavour is sour with some herbal bitterness. Light to medium body. Light bitter finish, woody.

Armsby draught, 4/25/26.
Funky, herbal, spicy nose, nice! Unlike the Rouge, this one actually has a bit of barnyard to it, and the spicing is a bit more prominent. The lambic is low in acid, again, however, with well-aged/rounded character. Very bright and approachable.
Funky and herbal in the mouth with, again like the Rouge, a super round, easygoing, well-aged lambic of low acidity. But there's funky barnyard and Brett here (not tons, but some) which adds complexity and interest. Drier than the Rouge, but far from bone dry. Very well-balanced and approachable/drinkable stuff.
