Una Birra Rosa. World Beer Cup Silver medal winner: 2025.
The color in this "Red Beer" is right on the cusp between a deep amber and a dark brew.
It has a bright ruby-red hue from the additions of Carared and Caraamber malts. The base malt is Eraclea, an Italian-grown, so-called facultative variety, which can be sown either in the fall or the spring. This Mediterranean-style dark lager has an excellent head. In the bouquet, there are aromas of grapes, caramel, and toffee, as well as a slight hint of chamomile. On the palate, these same flavors continue to spread. There is also a mix of mild sweetness and bitterness. The beer finishes dry with some gentle alcoholic warmth.
