It is designed to attract the beginning micro beer drinker. The addition of Willamette and Cascade hops gives this ale a crisp, clean character that is not challenging to a novice. This beer is enjoyed by experienced micro drinkers because of its character.

draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Pours yellow with a thin, white, fading head. It has a really mild malt aroma. The flavor is sweet bready malt with a light fruity touch and some mild hops in the finish. Itβs light bodied and not bad for what it is.

Had at Humperdinks on Greenville. Listed as Texas Blonde. Same appearance as the light. A bit more lacing maybe. No smell or taste really, very generic. Fizzy.

Sampled Draft: Pours a golden straw with a smaller white head. Mild nose of malt, taste is also a lighter version with malt, wheat, and barley a hint of hops. Good for the light beer drinker... perhaps.

2012-07-27, draught at Ram Restaurant and Brewery, Northgate, Seattle, 4-2-5-2-9=22
Blond color, hazy. Too light aroma. Dry mouthfeel, it has a crispy flavor of corn and moderate bitterness. Dry finish.
Easy.
2006-12-17, draught at Humperdinkβs, Dallas, as Texas Blonde, 2-2-2-2-4=12
Blond color. No aroma, no taste, just less close to water than the Light, but useless as well.

On Tap at The Ram / Boise Clear light golden a\with a nice white persistant head and very nice lacing. Pale light malt aromas and a slight metallic flavor. easy on the hops and a bit wheaty. Moderately carbonated Not bad, but not special. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hometown Blonde on 30 Mar 2022 at 19:18 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: On tap at the Boise location. Clear deep light golden with a thick dense white head. Sry pleasant light pale malts. Some pils notes and light on the hops side..again a bit reminiscent of pale lager. Creamy smooth light body. Quite nice actually

From a sampler at the Indy location: Called "Indy Blonde" at this locale. This is standard stuff here. Light golden color with a small fizzy head. Light hops aroma. Light and crisp body with a run-of-the-mill watery hops flavor. The finish is kind of weak too. Not really worth your time.
