On tap at Big Horn U District, pours a cloudy yellow with an orange tint and a small white head. Nose brings out a good balance of banana and spicy clove. Flavour is along the same lines, with a great mix of banana and clove, and no annoying bubblegum esters. Well-balanced and clean. Very good.

Draft at Humperdinks in Arlington. Cloudy orange. Aroma of intense and massive (?artificial) bubblegum. Taste is strangely bitter and sour. Unpleasant.

Sampler at Schaumburg. Hazy yellow tan. Decent banana clove tones. A pretty acceptable offering. Easy drinking, but there is an odd underlying taste. Did not grow on me.

All of the right weizen notes, with a hint of smoke. Nice job on this, as the Americans can’t seem to make a decent weizen. Heavier, chewy mouthfeel, creamy head, and sweet wheat and malt notes. It’s the smokiness that adds a new dmenssion, and makes it interesting. Nice job!
