On tap at the brewery taproom. Pitch black coloured, minimal brownish head, alcohol and light barrel in the nose. Roasted malt, alcohol, licorice, noticable barrel and boozy finish. Not entirely Messorem quality level.

On tap at Messorem. Pours black with a small brown head. Huge bourbon, dark sugars, and roast on the nose. Flavour has tons of woody bourbon barrels up front, some char, nice roast. Full-bodied. Pretty hot finish. Great complexity here. Fantastic.

Draft at the source. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is boozy, alcohol definitely present, bourbon, oak barrel, vanilla and chocolate. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Full bodied with alcohol warmth and soft carbonation.
