Bottle picked up from their stall at Inverurie Farmer's market. It pours crystal clear pale gold with a small bubbly rim. The aroma is bright and zingy, sherbet, crunchy apple, apple skin, grape must, gooseberry, funk, barnyard, leather and a hint of manure. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, deep funk, barnyard, some tannin, leather, damp oak, bitter - sweet crunchy apple, white grape, puckering, gooseberry, apple skin, muted alcohol presence and touch of sour candy/sherbet. Finish is drying with some crunchy apple. Medium body and light spritzy carbonation. A very easterton take on a medium -sweet, aka it is still quite dry, which I love.
