Aged for three years in red wine barrels, this imperial is a bigger version of Roes Red featuring 700 pounds of organic Washington blueberries added post-aging to back-sweeten it in traditional Flanders style. With vibrant acetic notes, a deep fruit character, and a touch of oak, Three Turns of the Sun delivers a sweet-and-sour balance over a complex malt base of California and European barley.
This is our longest-aged unblended sour to date and it was worth every moment.
